Caleb and I love bike riding…it’s a fun, family, outdoorsy workout (haha), that we both really enjoy. Before we had children, we would go riding at least once a week, sometimes more, and we often went to Brazos Bend State Park, almost every weekend, to ride on the trails, enjoy nature, and spend some time together.
Well, i got pregnant, no riding, had babies, still no riding…and I have been dying to ride for such a long time! Well, last weekend, Caleb was feeling the same, so we strapped on those babies (heehee), took the boys down to Brazos Bend, and went for a nice evening ride.
It was wonderful! I had Hudson on my back, and he talked most of the ride, pointing at everything, asking “that?” And I would try to guess what he was looking at, and tell him stories about it. Peter hung out on Daddy’s back, and just relaxed! They both loved looking around at everything! As a bonus, we saw some beautiful deer, and one pretty large buck, as we were leaving!!!
It’s exciting to be at the point where we can do these things with the boys, and they absolutely enjoy it as much as us!!! Loving my family!
